IMS Roorkee is managed by The Vardhman Educational Society. The society is registered under the Societies Registration ACT XXI 1860. The Institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource, and Government of India and is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun for Master of Business Administration (MBA) and to Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Srinagar (Uttarakhand) for Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) courses.
