We at IMS-R are privileged to have a Director General in Dr. Rakam Singh[Ph.D.(IIT, Roorkee),M.Sc.(Chemistry), B.Ed.], formerly Principal, B.S.M. College, Roorkee.

Dr. Rakam Singh has a long administrative and teaching experience of 39 years at various levels including 2 years abroad as Professor at Addis Ababa University, Ethopia. He also visited USA and Germany. He has also worked as an N. C.C. officer for 20 years.

Dr. Rakam Singh was conferred the Khosla award One of the highest and prestigious awards of the then University of Roorkee (Presently IIT Roorkee) with silver medal on research paper published in Inorganic Chemistry Journal in America. He is also a recipient of Bharat Siksha Ratan Award from HRD Minister. He has also been honored by the Rotary Club, many non Government Organizations and Shanti Kunj,

Hardwar for his administrative, academic and social contributions.

The Governor of Uttarakhand also honoured him as best Principal. We are privileged to have such an educated and well known personality leading our institute.
